I have worked at Galva Metal since 2015. I started as IT supervisor and have been information technology manager since 2023. Throughout, my work has circled the same question: what is actually happening on the production floor and in the office, and how do I make it visible and manageable?

Workcube ERP sits at the centre of my day. I customise the modules of six departments — HR, accounting, finance, shipping, operations and production — to fit how the company really works. I build reports in MSSQL, surface them in the web interface, and make processes traceable. I run the end-user training myself, because a system succeeds only when the people using it understand it.

On the development side I write REST APIs in Adobe ColdFusion and build mobile apps with React Native. Galva Metal's B2B app is the most visible result: partners can see their account balance, pay around the clock through the payment gateway, and track orders and dispatch notes from their phones. I connect suppliers and customers through web services.

I took a mobile programming course in 2016, completed my React Native certification in 2021, and then shipped the company's B2B app. In between came SQL Server administration, firewall, Git, and Agile–Scrum training. I do not think learning has a finish line; the industry changes and so do I.
